Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, recognizing individual client challenges and collaboratively formulating evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, encompassing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, using proven modalities that align with current best practices in mental health treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients facing acute mental health challenges, offering immediate support and resources to stabilize their situation.

• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations regarding client confidentiality, treatment progress, and clinical records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Springwells of Hope, you will work with a diverse population of clients from various backgrounds and experiences. Our clientele may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. You will be instrumental in guiding them through their healing journey, employing cultural competence, sensitivity, and empathy in all interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health counseling license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York.

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree; a master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong skills in clinical assessment and diagnosis, being able to evaluate clients effectively to inform treatment planning.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or a similar context.

Springwells of Hope offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
